WINDSOR & OXFORD

Guided day tour from Cambridge

Maximum 16 passengers

TOURS RUN ALL YEAR ROUND

Visit the ancient home of British royalty, the world's largest occupied castle, and one of the world's most prestigious university cities.

Windsor is an elegant town located on the River Thames upstream from London. Windsor Castle is an official residence of The King and a weekend escape from Buckingham Palace in London. The castle acts more like a royal palace used for banquets and ceremonies especially when The King welcomes other Heads of State to Britain. It is also the home to St.George's Chapel which houses the tombs of ten of the most recent British kings and queens.

Oxford (known as 'the other place' to Cambridge folk!) is famous worldwide for education. Like Cambridge, Oxford and its university have greatly influenced the country's history so no trip to Britain is complete without a peek at the 'dreaming spires' that dominate the city skyline and the fabulous college buildings that line the city streets below.
