 Brighton was once the fashionable retreat for royalty and the rich London elite and home to the extraordinary seaside palace of The Prince Regent, The Royal Pavilion. Today it is an entertaining, bohemian town with grand buildings, narrow shopping streets and a wonderful pebble beach.   
 Beachy Head is the highest cliff on England's south coast towering over The Channel below. Behind is the rolling land of the South Downs National Park with expansive views of the spectacular coastline to Brighton. Enjoy the crashing waves, the pebble beach and the rockpools below.

Plan for the day
  • We depart from Cambridge at 0800 (please read 'Tour details' below) to arrive at Beachy Head at 1030.
  • After a comfort break and if the weather is good, we walk for an hour along the clifftops from Beachy Head down to the beach at Birling Gap.
  • Time for some beachcombing, browsing the exhibition at the Seven Sisters Country Park Visitor Centre, or resting with a coffee in the cafe.
  • Depart from Beachy Head at 1230 to arrive in Brighton at 1315. Free time for lunch.
  • Join the 75-minute walking tour along the seafront and through The Lanes, a labyrinth of narrow streets of antiques and jewellery shops, to the Royal Pavilion. Time to enter the Pavilion if you wish.
  • We depart from Brighton at 1730 to arrive back in Cambridge at 2000.

Price:Adults £69, Students & Children £59.
Price includes: Return travel, clifftop walk, beach visit, guided walking tour of Brighton, services of experienced tour guide.
Not included: Meals, entry fees to attractions (unless stated).
Departure points: We have many departure points across Cambridge.
Departure times: Depart at 8am, return at 8pm from/to the main entrance to Parkside Swimming Pool, Gonville Place, Parker's Piece. Times for all other departure points will vary - please check your e-ticket for the correct departure time.
Small groups:  Maximum of 16 passengers per tour (group size may be a little higher in summer).
Discounts:We offer a 10% discount for groups of 6 passengers or more travelling together. Discounts not available in July or August. Email us for more details.
