'The Venice of the North'
Bruges is the capital of West Flanders in the Flemish Region of Belgium and, because of its extensive canal network, is sometimes referred to as The Venice of the North.
In the Middle Ages Bruges became an important wool and cloth trading city and later a producer of lace. This tour will not only reveal the city's historic centre, protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its medieval architecture but also its beer and chocolate!
