Matt Hayes began Roots Travel & Tours in 2001 to give overseas students learning English in Cambridge the chance to look beyond Cambridge and experience the UK's wide variety of tourism and cultural attractions. Roots has now expanded to provide tours to passengers of all ages, from all over the world and from all walks of life. Matt continues to guide Roots' tours.

 

Over time we have boiled down our tour destinations to those that are guaranteed to fascinate everyone, young or old. The tours are carefully planned and diligently researched to ensure an enjoyable and informative day out. We aim to deliver each tour spot on each and every time. 

 

Your welfare is our utmost concern so all travel obeys strict legislation on driving rules and passenger safety and we only use well-maintained, reliable and comfortable transport licensed by the local transport authorities.
