 Guided day tour from Cambridge
 'Ancient Britain'
Awe-inspiring prehistoric monuments of pagan Britain at midwinter sunrise.
Stonehenge is one of the most famous monuments of the ancient world, and the best time to see it is at the solstice - at midsummer or midwinter. Join us inside the stone circle to experience the rebirth of the sun at sunrise on midwinter's day. Afterwards, we head to Avebury.

Avebury dwarves Stonehenge. It is home to the world's largest stone circle which forms part of a huge complex of prehistoric monuments, some older than Stonehenge itself. It seems that Avebury was the spiritual centre of the world for the people who were later to build Stonehenge.
