depart from Cambridge at 0900
to arrive at the north Norfolk coast mid-morning.
first stop, the pretty village of Burnham Market with its quaint shops.
on to Holkham to walk through the pine forest and on to the sand dunes and the
vast expanse of beach before taking lunch in Wells-next-the-Sea.
lunch, we visit other coastal villages before heading to Morston.
Morston Quay we take a boat trip along the river estuary and out
to Blakeney Point where there is a large colony of seals. Some seals rest undisturbed
on the sand, other inquisitive seals swim up to the boat. Are we the exhibit or
back in Cambridge at 1800.
